Seems like JFrog is under massive pressure by GitHub, GitLab and the big cloud providers. The big companies are starting to move to those services and all the small ones are already there. No one needs an on-prem artifact repo for this setup.
There are also rumors that JFrog will change the licensing of their products in the next months.
The notice is really short for such a takedown - cornered animals sometime make bald moves.
