Aside from how much I obviously like to ramble? ;) I wasn't thinking a point system, more like, "Once you connect to other people, it your job to keep your information up to date, and what information others have access to." Maybe ask people when signing up, "To help you stay in contact, we'd like to send you a reminder to keep this information up to date! Please choose a time frame for a reminder:" and let them choose 3 or 6 months. At least, I don't think an email once every six months (saying "your friends have this contact information from you:" If this is not up to date, please log in an update your contact info!) is spamming.
