Make the sign up link much more prominent, and have it available on every page. Make pricing information available prior to asking for my email address and shipping address. If you are showing the $9 price somewhere on the site before the spreedly checkout page I couldn't find it. If you are going to collect my personal information prior to check out you really need to pre-populate it into the check out form. Making the customer enter their data twice is irritating and adds friction to the buying process.
