- pfdietz 6y agoI think that's a TRIGA reactor? TRIGA reactors uses a uranium hydride fuel. The hydrogen in the fuel heats along with the fuel, which increases the temperature of the thermal neutrons, reducing reactivity. The strong and instant negative feedback prevents an SL-1 like accident.
