I'm pretty sure I had this exact model of humidifier at one point and had...none of these issues? - I was able to pop the fan grille off for cleaning, it took me a while to figure out how, but once I did it was pretty easy. - The wick does get crusty with mineral deposits, but I just soaked it in a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water (with a good subsequent rinsing), and it was almost as good as new. - The rest was pretty easy to clean. As easy as any other humidifier I've owned, at any rate. - I had it in a small bedroom (couldn't be more than 200 sq. ft), and it was perfectly humid in the room. Granted, it was a tiny room.
