- therealmarv 6y agoNo it's not only this. I have to change Hue, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, and Gamma slightly. Quicktime on Mac does a better job in this. VLC is not color accurate by default or not optimized for subjective pleasing color results (unlike most TVs nowadays) but the manual sliders can compensate it. However it's annoying if you change monitors. Then the settings are off again.
