Microsoft sparks anger by charging Hotmail and Outlook users to keep emails
- talhah 6y agoTitle is misleading, they're not charging you to keep your address. They're charging you for going over the storage limit, and you can still keep your address. You're just not allowed to send any emails until you clear the space or buy more storage.
- simonblack 6y agoYes. I'm no fan of Microsoft, but in this they're doing no different from Apple, et al, in supplying a limited free amount of storage and charging extra for higher storage usage.
- karmakaze 6y agoThis might actually be a feature. Keep your email folders cleaned out. Might be a good reason for me to try to make it my main email.
