If they're like me, the reason they're not going to restaurants now is because they don't want to risk getting Covid-19 (my state is doing well enough they started allowing indoor dining again, for example, but I'm still only having takeout delivered). Inviting a stranger into your home isn't any better. I haven't even let my own parents inside my home since this started.
