TL/DR: "Dr. Fauci should have magically made Trump listen to reason even though that's not something that Trump ever does".
The article manages to entirely fail to note that all capable people who went against Trump eventually got fired. Trump even wanted Pence to be killed for simply opening envelopes and counting the results.
- involans 6y agoThe article argues that being fired (or ideally resigning) is preferable to appearing to be happy with unacceptable circumstances. If his influence was minimal, the article argues there was little point being at the table The main criticism is that he was not being honest with the public.
