Odd article. If you don't like LinkedIn then just delete the account and carry on? Personally I use it to keep up with former colleagues and as a glorified CV.

Personally I use it to keep up with former colleagues and as a glorified CV. And most importantly, it have helped me get employed.
- Exmoor 6y agoAgreed. Use it for what its useful for, ignore the rest. Social media in general is mostly noise. The key is to optimize the best use and ignore the rest. Honestly this is much easier on LinkedIn since I have a pretty limited subset of activities that I want to engage in there.
