Why Does Athens Look So Quirky?
- necovek 6y agoQuite interesting to learn that this was happening in Athens half a century ago, while it's happening in Belgrade today (though regulated and government gets decent profit out of it): basically, general urbanisation plans get modified for anyone with connections or a bit of money to "grease" the right people, and the government itself has changed laws to make the abomination that is Belgrade Waterfront legal. At least I've got a term to name this now: antiparochi.
