This is completely wrong, in order to launch Starlink SpaceX had to get approval from the FAA. You can't just stick whatever you want in space.
- mellosouls 6y agoVery parochial take. The FAA is a US agency. You do realise Starlink is polluting the skies outside of America?
- CDSlice 6y agoI’m not saying that SpaceX themselves asked people outside of the US, but that they did get permission from the FAA which has to make sure any satellite constellations they authorize abide by various international treaties about the use of space. Also you are moving the goalposts, your original post claimed that SpaceX didn’t ask anyone for permission which is completely false.
