Also to be married under the Special Marriage Act you can really only have a civil ceremony at a magistrates office. If you have a religious ceremony, it does not apply.
- webmobdev 6y agoThat's not true. You can have a religious ceremony after the civil ceremony is registered.
- srean 6y agoCitation or else this is false. In any case the ceremonies are much too elaborate to be held in magistrates office without cutting corners. So they are held at home or marriage halls.
