Does OpenGL ES 3 work under linux?
- calebccff 6y agoHey, developer here, yeah OpenGL ES 3 works, that is, super tux racer runs just fine. Unfortunately Phosh lacks support for hardware acceleration, but I'm working on bringing Manjaro ARM to the device with Lomiri which runs VERY well
- bullen 6y agoOk, interesting! How hard would it be to run this on Samsung S9? I see they still sell adapters with HDMI/USB and power but how do you install DeX?
- opencl 6y agoEven the non-ES OpenGL 3 works in the freedreno GPU driver. According to [1] it supports up to 3.3. There's also a Vulkan driver though I'm not sure how mature it is.
