- analog31 6y agoIt's fascinating that today, I don't even know how many pixels my screen has, but I still remember doing the math to figure out how many columns a display could support. I sweated bullets over those numbers because I was buying my first computer in 1984 and wanted to be sure that I could really type a term paper on it. I had a chance to play with a Mac, but it was priced out of my league at the time.
