'We had to go it alone': how the UK got ahead in the Covid vaccine race
- Proven 6y agoThe Guardian... Now it's "we". Mere days ago they claimed the government's response to Covid was a disaster. Next week they'll claim they do-invented the vaccine. And the Internet. > Just 2% of the EU adult population has so far received a jab, compared with 11% in the UK. Without Brexit that wouldn't be possible. It'd be 3-4% each at best (probably 3%, because AZ would have started later if Brussels was in charge EU-wide.)
