I've been coding CG on and off since 1987 and this just hits so many disparate things and brings them all together in a beautiful visual and mathematical presentation. I've been meaning to model a simple 3d character for a game I want to reboot, and had been waffling between doing something procedural / parametric and either doing the art or hiring an artists. Now I know what I'm doing for the rest of the day. clears schedule. Woo!
