My initial reaction to Cuil was positive, but that's cause I kinda liked the interface and the first few searches I tried did really well. Lesson learned: Try at least 20, cause some were just horrendous. That said, there is some promise, and the "related information" tab, while currently only semi-useful does show some promise. The challenge is that people are not going to have the patience for Cuil to be "at least as good as Google". That just doesn't work, and shouldn't
