Wouldn't the tent have been damaged had the avalanche actually caused such severe bodily injuries? From what I remember, the tent only had a knife cut in it, done from the inside.
- convery 6y agoThe injuries is from tumbling around in the avalanche, a tent (if nailed down) will just be flattened.
- ayk3 6y agoHow would one tumble in the avalanche while in the tent? Is the thought that the group heard the avalanche, came out, and got caught in it? I should read the paper more carefully. I'm going off what I remember from Dead Mountain by Eichar.
- tsjq 6y agoThe article says, perhaps that was a small & solid slab of packed snow that fell on the tent, broke some bones, and slid away.
