One thing I think isn't being factored in is the interaction between remote working and remote school for kids. Depending on a bunch of factors, remote work could be much more pleasant or taxing during school closures than it might be during 'normal' times. I guess a similar point could be made even just about spouses both doing remote work at the same time, or even roommates.
