There are people that "trust" stocks? To me it's always been a somewhat stupid casino game for the rich to rig.
- jaywalk 6y agoAnyone who doesn't do it for a living should treat investing in individual stocks exactly as they would gambling in a casino.
- michaelt 6y agoIt's a casino if you're buying individual stocks and trading on a daily basis. But if you're saving for retirement by putting x% of your income into an index fund? That's pretty conventional, most people with retirement savings do something along those lines.
