I'm already uneasy with the move from analogue interfaces to digital, but there's also this middle ground where "fanciness" just gets in the way of convenience. Realistically, we're going to have a tough time finding out what dangers we'll have from moving from analogue dashboards to digital ones. Feels a bit like when we got rid of the incandescent bulb before LED bulbs were really ready.
