Another QtWebEngine based browser is Falkon[1], part of the KDE project. It works well for most websites which stick to standard web development practices, has built-in ad blocker and the reason to use it would be in memory constrained environments as QtWebEngine seems to be quite memory efficient.
But the development is slow, last major release was in Mar 2019.

- anthk 6y agoOtter Browser is more recent albeit crashier, but the resource requeriments are close.
- Abishek_Muthian 6y agoWill check it out. By 'crashier' do you mean the browser crashes or the website fails to load? If it's the former, then I don't remember Falkon ever crashing.
- anthk 6y agoThe browser may crash, albeit it may be due to my QT version (I use Slackware current). Falkon has been much more stable on Slackware 14.2.
- The-Compiler 6y agoNote that Otter Browser uses QtWebKit by default, which is based on a 2018 WebKit with many known security issues: https://github.com/qtwebkit/qtwebkit/releases https://github.com/qtwebkit/qtwebkit/releases
- The-Compiler 6y ago> But the development is slow, last major release was in Mar 2019. I'm afraid it seems pretty much dead at this point... Looking at https://github.com/KDE/falkon/commits/master https://github.com/KDE/falkon/commits/master there's only a (non-automated) commit all couple of months or so.
