sqlalchemy in Python. Having used both ActiveRecord and sqlalchemy, I'll take sqlalchemy all day everyday.
- krysp 6y agoSQLAlchemy is really special - coming from Django I wasn't convinced initially, but I think the reason it works so well is it doesn't try to hide any magic. It's simply a nice way to represent objects in your database, you still have to explicitly request it to commit / run queries.
