I think a lot of people commenting here have not read the comments on WSB. People there know it will crash. They're buying call options to force the market makers to buy to delta hedge, thus driving up the price and making actual shares scarce. The point is to screw over the hedge fund shorting gamestop. nothing more, nothing less
