This is a dumb argument. By your logic, pump and dump schemes should be allowed because there is no such thing as actual value so the victims aren't actually affected. Right... A group of people are coordinating a short squeeze. They are selling a get rich quick scheme and marketing it as anti-establishment. People who are late to the party and fall for the anti-establishment rhetoric will be the ones who lose their shirts.
