Tesla did make an exterior refresh in 2016 and and a limited interior refresh as well. It also added a drastically improved suspension then. The exterior here is in fact refreshed. Chrome delete, different front end, different lights and other details. If you see the car on the road, the outside doesn't look dated at all in my opinion.
