I could be mistaken, but I figured I'd point this out since it was my experience, the host PC must have wireless (context: I had a PC with only an ethernet connection, no wireless card). It will take advantage of the ethernet connection, making for a more responsive experience, but however it is designed requires wireless even if the both computers are connected to ethernet. I connected a usb wireless dongle and it did the trick for me.
