That doesn't sound so good, but I can do one better. The 4 FP EUs/core on the M1 (x64 has 2) that likely lead to this result might also lead other languages to use more floats and doubles.

- ece 6y agoIt is, but the Firestorm cores can do 2x more scalar FP executions per clock than Zen 3.
