The printing press operators are trying two angles of attack: Bitcoin's use by terrorists and ecological footprint. Both are completely unsubstantiated- for example worldwide TV electricity consumption is >6bn KWh per year (and that's only by TV sets)
- ggm 6y agoThis is a bit of a misdirection argument: "look over here at this worser thing" The answer is not "its ok to mint bitcoin by burning coal because TV is worser"
