- LatteLazy 6y agoThe benefit is 5G Internet for 1000s of people in the area. The fact no one mentions that in the article, is why I didn't think much of the article. Similarly, I'd be happy to see the boxes moved to less obvious places (further onto the property, next to a fence?). But that isn't discussed either. The whole article seems to hinge on "what about my house price". That's pure NIMBY as far as I can see. Presumably the couple on question use mobile phones, plus electricity and water and other utilities all of which require boxes outside other peoples home...
- noja 6y agoThe benefit of 5G is... 5G? Surely the difference of 5G over 4G is the benefit... which doesn't seem to be much.
