Curious. I had to read until mid-article to figure out what kind of monitoring we were talking about. Because for a lot of other monitoring use-case (i.e. infrastructural, environmental, biological etc.) it's another story. Feels like the article has a strong sysadmin/devops bias. Which is fine, but maybe adding "IT" in the title would have been better :)
