Stuck at home for Covid and was looking for projects to make my home network better. Sold my Ubiquiti security appliance and put an Opnsense router in its place. Aside from services that aren’t well documented, I’ve been able to set it up enough that I’d consider dumping my Cisco equipment in the office in favor of this as our firewall. I looked at pfsense and got a weird vibe from their site.
