I keep reading how pollution/smog is a major concern for the upcoming Olympics. Was it that bad?
- maxklein 18y agoI certainly did not notice any pollution.
- joshwa 18y agoI was there during a period of unseasonably clear weather-- from the top of the Grand Hyatt we could see clearly for miles and miles (which gives you a good idea as to how HUGE the city is.. and I live in NYC. ). The air is much worse in Beijing, though.
- poutine 18y agoShanghai is not Beijing, it's reasonably clean. Beijing takes pollution to a whole new level and then once more. /lives in Beijing //hack, cough, sputter
