Petition to stop plant-based dairy censorship in the EU
- gus_massa 6y agoIn the other direction, do you think that it's fine to call cow-milk "vegan" if the cow only eats grass and corn? [This exclude cows that eat bone meal https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_meal#Dietary_supplements https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_meal#Dietary_supplements and other nasty stuff.]
- czechdeveloper 6y agoI don't get where you are pointing at. It's already illegal to call vegan alternatives for example "oat milk" (in EU). By now, you could not even "evoke" milk, such as "non-dairy", "not-milk", "as milk", "milky", all would be forbidden.
- gus_massa 6y agoMy point is that this is not censorship, just a prohibition of misleading labeling.
