I also drive a 2008 Prius with the original battery. Only things I've had to replace after 180k miles is 12v battery, oil, oil filter, air filter, tyres, wiper blades, lights, brake pads and hand brake cable. Basically things that regularly need changing, although the hand brake cable is probably the exception to that. Most reliable car I've ever owned.
