- AndrewStephens 6y agoYou are technically correct (the best kind of correct) but the Earth IS round for most intents and purposes. Only people who need very accurate maps care that it is not. If the Earth was shrunk down to bowling ball size and taken to a lane it would be just as spherical as any of the other balls.
