Carboncounter – Cars evaluted against climate targets
- speedgoose 6y agoIt's a nice visualization but the dataset is missing quite a lot of electric cars.
- this15testing 6y agoI feel like these should also include production/manufacturing emissions per vehicle. The rare-earth metals and lithium for batteries (for example) don't just appear out of thin air. Private cars have a many many externalities, not only the energy used to move the vehicle.
- Lapland 6y agoThat's what i liked about it, it says on the page that: "Greenhouse gas emissions account for the entire lifecycle, including vehicle production and battery production, supply chains raw materials."
- Lapland 6y ago(And is possible to change in the "Customize" tab)
- this15testing 6y agoah gotcha, thanks!
- jaxx75 6y agoAt risk of being an annoying PSA: If it has a center of gravity higher than sedans or doesn't have a D-pillar, it's (probably) not a station wagon.
