Wow. I remember that UI. A lot of geezers around here, but still some of us are fresh and young with our eight-digit numbers.
I have no idea if mine still works. Any email that was ever tied to it is long gone.
Edit: I had to check. “Cannot recover password”.
- jghn 6y agoSome of us are fresh and young with our seven-digit numbers. ;) Missed out on a six-digit number by a couple of months. While I still know my number by heart, I've been locked out of it for ages. I registered my account before they required an email for password recovery, and even if I had I lost access to the email address I would have used over a decade ago.
- StrictDabbler 6y agoYeah, I had a six digit ID. Six. Still remember it. All I did with it, at the end, was sign in to make sure I still had access every year or so. Eventually I stopped and lost it. I think the last genuine message I sent with it was on a Danger Hiptop in 2005.

- Semaphor 6y agoMost of my friends had 9-10 digit numbers, and I was 1337 for having 8 ;) I still remember both my numbers, but I’m not sure if I can remember the passwords, it was before I used password managers ;)
- 52-6F-62 6y agoWhoa. I just tried one of the oldest passwords I can remember, and I was able to log in as well. All of my contacts are there. I don't remember who 99% of them are, mind you. It's kind of surreal.
