World Economic Forum plans to rebrand capitalism with a “new social contract”
- raidicy 6y agoIs there anyone with a non-subjective view of this great reset meme that might share a tldr?

- chaganated 6y agoNothing cryptic about the word of Jesus Christ. "Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." If the words of Klaus & Co. aren't setting off your alarm bells, I can't help you.
- mbg721 6y agoSo far, they haven't even succeeded at rebranding themselves as "not the big conference table of Bond villains".
- chaganated 6y agoI don't buy that these people would ever give the peasants a jubilee. It is strange territory for them, fraught with unforeseeable consequences -- can't really run the stats on something that hasn't happened in centuries. And the old Malthusian terrors are, evidently, still very much on their minds -- now over climate rather than food.
- maxerickson 6y agoWould a jubilee cancel bonds? Government bonds? Bankruptcy is probably a better system, even if it is abused, as there is no need for everyone to plan around it. I suppose that is part of the intent of a jubilee though, to limit overall lending.
