Singapore university develops special aerogel that turns air into drinking water
- ranguna 6y agoSingapore just solved the water problem huh ? They still need to test how much water can be extracted in dry climates, but that 95% conversion ration for humid climates is very promising.
- stratosgear 6y ago1kg to produce 17lt? That much quantity must have tremendous volume size...
- erik_seaberg 6y agoThat could be something like 17 000 cm³ of water from 50 000 cm³ of aerogel. Its typical density is so low that weighing it barely makes sense; some types are even lighter than air.
