I think a good first compromise for policy would be to require all platforms to have a three strike system with required explanations and obligatory links to the concrete content in question. The current situation is not acceptable for users.
- Terretta 6y agoIsn’t it though? Almost all do accept it, and if you raise it with them, they ask you why you’re bothering.
- Terretta 6y agoAdding: Complacency by users, lack of action by users, is effectively acceptance. Further, it’s not just lack of action. When prompted to notice, a majority of users generally react with frustration over your asking them to care about what to them seems less relevant.
