- TillE 6y agoThis has been a persistent issue for years. The obituaries are a really weird quirk of HN, which is otherwise not a general news site. Some public figure dies, no particular relevance to this site's users, nobody has anything especially interesting to say, but there's the post at the top of the page. Baffling.
- JoeAltmaier 6y agoThere's a 'hide' button below each submission title. I suggest hitting that when some post isn't riveting. Saves on pointless complaining.
- janmo 6y agoThanks, I think it would be great if HN would have more categories/tags. There is already the "Show HN" which is great. And then an option to hide/follow a certain tag/category.
