Alphabet Is Grounding Project Loon–But Won't Call It a Failure
- atlasunshrugged 6y agoThis is a shame, seemed like a really interesting project but I'm hopeful that Starlink and other technologies will fill the gap of low(ish) costs internet in developing markets... definitely don't want to depend on free basics to subsidize people's data plans forever (and lock people into the FB ecosystem to the point they think FB & Whatsapp are the internet)
