Google will pull search engine from Australia if forced to pay news publishers
- kwdc 6y agoBeing able to walk away is often a good bargaining chip to have during negotiations. Google should be careful however because plenty of people might just simply accept this and change search providers away from them. Perhaps gmail is next? Google Search is a flagship for Google. If they're prepared to let that sail away then Gmail can't be out of the question either. Interesting times.
