- nickik 6y agoThe body is not actually stainless steel. This is common misconception. Its actually a totally normal unibody construction, they just put stainless steel panels on top just like other cars put painted panels on top. And even if it was, why 'would it not make it far'? Cars are made out of steel, stainless steal worse then other types of steel. The first car that is actually structurally stainless steel will by the Cybertruck as far as I know.
