Wish there was something like this for Linux too. Rust system programing on Linux consist of dealing with a dumpster fire of badly implemented and incomplete wrapper crates for the kernel interfaces.
- bluejekyll 6y agoI assume you're talking about more than just libc. Many of the Linux specific facilities are captured in higher-level cross platform implementations, like mio abstracts over kqueue on BSD and epoll on Linux. What are the APIs you're interested in that are missing or of poor quality?
