Presumably, they used the macOS/iOS kernel source code as a reference? I'm no expert on kernels, but a quick grep reveals plenty of references to "AIC" and "FIQ

Presumably, they used the macOS/iOS kernel source code as a reference? I'm no expert on kernels, but a quick grep reveals plenty of references to "AIC" and "FIQ", in osfmk/arm64 for example.
