Wasn't Rust bootstrapped with OCaml? I'm sure there are additional popular(ish) languages (i.e. Elm and PureScript) that are compiled with pure FP languages.
- zanellato19 6y agoIt was, but it produced LLVM IR from the beginning, iirc
