For me, the COVID isn't as much of an issue as its restrictions. To travel internationally right now you have to get a test for most countries (which needs to be done 2 days before flight and costs a lot of money), make sure to have the results on time, and even then, when you arrive you are likely to get quarantined for weeks. Or you get quarantined when you return back from your trip.
